His life was filled with joy and contentment with a future as bright as the sun... until one solemn night, evil stretched forth its wicked hand from the darkness and changed everything.
An unknown terror has taken his is family into the wilds of the forest and the Woodsman sets off to find them at any cost. With an untamed rage and relentless pursuit, he tracks the monsters responsible for taking his beloved wife and son. The fate of his family and the truth he seeks lies in the deep of the woods. The Woodsman must overcome horrifying creatures, dark revelations, inner turmoil, and the wiles of the devil himself!

About the Author
Matthew Menck writes Christian fiction stories within the genres of horror, thriller, and drama which focus upon the challenges of life, scriptural lessons, and most importantly, the true and only salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He enjoys writing short, fast-paced stories which explore human behavior, trials, and influence from a biblical perspective.
Matt is a born-again Christian and gives all glory to the Lord Jesus. He started life in Nebraska where he developed an interest in writing short stories while in grade school. Matt went on to complete his graduate studies in organizational management and made his way to Arizona in 2000 where he met his wife of 23 years. They now reside in the Ozarks of Missouri surrounded by their sons, staying active in their church where they teach bible verse classes to elementary-aged children, attend study groups and other events where each day he remains a work in-progress for Jesus.
